Mokai Rendezvous Ride
« on: October 13, 2021, 07:47:17 PM »
Would anyone want to plan a river ride this coming spring / summer. Thinking of maybe doing something like this. We all meet up at a good place to ride and do and Mokai Rendezvous. Maybe we could even make it an annual thing and pick a different places every time.  I myself would be willing to travel. PS I hope I posted this in the correct thread.

Been getting a couple of messages that have interest in this. Let’s post the replies on this thread and see what can come up with. I myself have the New River I can take us too or the Greenbrier River.

I never had time to travel, but would welcome all who would want to meet in my neck of the woods to run in my playground on the Altamaha River.  \./8

That would be a good ride. All we have around here is rocky rivers.

Like Tom, I have no time to travel currently, but would love to join up in the future years. Then again, maybe plan it in GA during the late fall and we can all just leave our boats at Tom's place for winter upgrades! >:D :)

I think Mokai does gatherings like that, but I’m not invited, ha ha. I would LOVE to get together with other owners! Your area would be my limit for travel, and it would need to be fairly slow current, or I’ll never keep up with anyone.

Pennsylvania rivers tend to have more rock than water, but I find that quite interesting. You really have to constantly read the water or things get real interesting fast. Might be willing to travel a couple hours for a ride with a couple boats in moving water conditions.

Well I see we do have some interest in a good float. Something I guess we could all think about while in front of the wood stove this winter. Maybe start this thread going again in the spring and move forward with a date and place. Would this be ok with you guys? And in the meantime I will have Tom do some tricking out on my ride.
