Fuel bowl gasket
« on: April 10, 2021, 01:59:28 PM »
I never have luck with any motor's fuel bowl gasket. >:(

I've found some on-line for the EX21. just wondering if anybody has used another method/material for sealing it.
It also looks like I'll need a needle to pick it out ?

Thanks
Jerry

If the o-ring is intact, it's probably just fine. Clean it and make the sure the bowl isn't bent in, that will prevent it from sealing. You can use a screwdriver handle on the inside of the bowl, tap it while holding the bowl to push the center down a little. Then when you put the bowl screw in, the bowl will be seated on the o-ring while your tightening it. I have new o-rings if you need one though, $10 shipped.

Same trouble here when I tried to replace it on my Snow Blower. Decided to get rid of it and went to the EGO lithium battery model. Now all I need is more than a few inches of snow for a change.  :)
