Title: Painless way to remove broken fuel tank valve?
Post by: Drenthe on June 29, 2019, 07:07:16 AM
The valve on my fuel tank snapped off and I am trying to figure out a way to get the threaded part out of the tank without damaging something. Anyone have any experience with this?

Plastic or metal, and pics would help. Couple different ways what you described could happen, each would have different solutions.

Ok. I would use some pliers to remove that center valve piece and the spring. Then find a flat head screw driver that can be wedged into the hole under pressure, then try to unscrew the base of the connector; counter clockwise is the direction you would turn.

This is the replacement parts.
