Electric Start GX200 (SOLD)
« on: August 19, 2015, 04:29:29 PM »
This is the GX200 that I had in my 2003 for a few years. It was a race engine built by NR-Racing.com and has a ported and milled head, .020 over ARC Billet rod for even more compression, billet magnetic fill plugs, ignition switch wiring harness w/ connector, and my muffler. If you send your linkage bracket/ fuel pump w/ lines/ motor mounting feet/ and air shroud, I would install them all on the motor and have it ready to drop in a run other than the battery and it's wiring at no additional cost. Add $60 if battery and related wiring/connector are desired. Absolutely nothing wrong with this motor, it's been tough as nails and reliable as can be, but I wanted my 2003 to have the same setup that I've been doing for everyone else so I was actually using what I'm selling and could also use it as a test bed. This motor with all the extras set me back $1000, this is a great chance for somebody wanting to upgrade for a fraction. $550 shipped, unless you need the battery and it's wiring too. :-O

I got 14-15 mph going with the current. It was always reliable, never gave me any trouble at all. It is a little noisier being a push rod motor, and the throttle always had to be opened a little to start, but it would run all day and never miss a beat.

It is still available. I don't have the muffler anymore though. I will let it go for $450 shipped. Email if interested. tom692@comcast.net

Curious to know how would you ship the motor? Meaning the container or crate.

I ship engines in a cardboard box with a plywood and foam in the base, and paper packed around the sides and top. Haven't had any problems with that method yet.

Thanks. Do you use USPS, FedEx, UPS? How much do you think it would cost me to send mine down to you?

UPS or USPS is fine. It's all in how you pack and what box you use. Engine w/ clutch and box weighs around 60 lbs, box should be around 18x18x24. You can calculate the price with that.
