Amazing stability with the new DJI, no movement at all.

Yup, just a Spark. Works fine for what I need it for, the small size is a big bonus.

It's been while since I've shared some flight videos. Here are a couple from today for those who are interested.  :)

I was asked to do a demo flight at a neighboring club's event this past Saturday. Never thought I would be at a point to be able to entertain people, this hobby sure has taken me places I never would have guessed!  \./8

Did some Christmas flying today and got to try out my new computer!! Built a new PC last week and it's SUPER FAST!! Watching video preview while editing I've never been able to watch the transitions or special effects in real time or full resolution, so it's always been a pause and play thing over and over until I see enough to know it will look ok. Now I can watch real time, full resolution, full screen, and see everything just like it was a finished video on DVD. New level of fun for editing now, and I expect to have more exciting River content with this new found ability to quickly and easily edit video!

I already noticed some added effects. Your ability to learn new things should make it a lot of fun. HitFilm keeps adding Plug-Ins which slowed my computer in the same way as yours. But, now with my new Asus gaming computer, we'll be able to add some cool content to the Video section. I enjoy the challenge of editing but it comes at a snails pace, but we'll get there...eventually!   ;)

With the faster ability to test new things, I was motivated to explore some different transitions since I can now watch them seamlessly. The challenge with editing for me is to overcome my laziness, I could do sooo much more but that takes lots of time and I'm not making $$ from my videos. I guess I am indirectly, they are a form of advertising to draw interest here, so it will be nice to be able to do more faster. One of the hardest things to do in editing is keeping scenes short, using the best few seconds from a good 30 second clip and only using that. Why this last video was more entertaining and easier to watch than my typical flight video that has little to no editing. 3 seconds between scenes, and keeping the action going in each one, will keep people's attention much better.  It's hard to leave out stuff you liked. One of those "less is more" lessons to learn. lol  \./8

"The challenge with editing for me is to overcome my laziness"...Well said, definately my biggest challenge. Second might be frustration with learning the software. I try to be a perfectionist when I should just worry about my laziness. I need to just sit down and edit footage in order to improve my skill set. Can't wait to see how your videos progress, might give me the incentive to overcome that laziness factor. Time to update our New Year resolutions. Lol
