Good idea, Tim.  I was wondering about the flex seal just recently.  My covers have already lost the thread holding the support bows and they leak through the thread holes.  I'm going to follow your lead here and spray inside and outside the stitched areas.  Thanks.

I like your idea too. The covers seem to be fairly nice material and quality for storing the boats outside.

My new waterproof cover will fit into a stuff sack as big as a baseball, which will be a plus for keeping it in my storage compartment.

Chuck, a cover like that would be perfect for traveling.  Can't wait to see the finished product.
