If it is your desire to piss off other boaters who want to enjoy a pleasant day on the water, this will get it done for sure...  I for one would not be a customer. But then again, I am not 21 and a thrill speaker.  They may have a place in the market but IMHO, that would be out in open water away from other boats and definitely away from marinas and anchored boats smaller than cruise ships.   ;)

Moved the post here to Chat since it's not 2.0 or Mokai related in any way.  ;)

The kit to convert the Seadoo Spark to that is around $7k, or they would sell the whole completed thing for $15k. Cool little toy but it's just a sit in jet ski with a big price tag.

I'm actually in the process of building a Mini Jet boat.  They're made specifically to run skinny water, slam into rocks and run up rapids... fast.  I run my mokai in a lot of shallow rocky rivers and have to get out and pull it through a lot of stuff.  The Mini Jet will resolve those issues for me.

Aluminum hull Mini Jets are great for that stuff, that Seadoo would be just as fun if it wasn't just a fiberglass hull. I've seen pumps from Mokais running rocky bottoms that hit frequently, some pretty beat up stuff. lol

Yeah, my Mokai is beat up from the rocks here.. I've kept the pump protected though.  The Mini Jet I'm building has 1/4" 6061 Aluminum for the hull, and that is covered with a 1/2" sheet of UHMW.  The draft is 12" at rest, planing at 20mph with a draft of 3" to 4", top speed around 45mph with the engine I have.  I'm building mine for rugged durability and not speed... you can build them to go much faster.

Yeah that should be bullet proof, and 45 mph is not slow on the water. lol I've always wanted a Mini Jet but there really is no need for that level of durability with the sandy bottom rivers here. The just look like a blast to cruise in, the sports car of the water.

Yeah, it's going to work perfect for what I need.  It should be the ultimate "Mokai 3+++". haha  I want to make sure it will satisfy all my needs first, so I am still going to run it for a season before I sell my Mokai.  I have the donor Seadoo and I've ordered the hull, so I should have it built and on the water this summer sometime.
