We really have found the Allegheny Reservoir to be our favorite place to boat in and camp. Especially midweek in the months of May and October, so quiet at times you only hear an occasional owl, coyote or just a couple of Mokai engines.  :D

We really enjoy the time spent here while hammock camping, hiking the NCT and fishing. I get an eerie feeling when it's so quiet and getting 50 feet from shore and notice the fishfinder shows I'm in 80 feet of water.  :-O

Before my wifeís health declined, we used to go tent camping in the Allegheny Forest. We loved it! Assuming I keep the Mokai, Iíll be heading up there next year. Maybe do a weekend with you guys?

Sounds like a plan, we go a few times a year. Usually put in at Webb's Ferry launch and head down to Hook's Brook, maybe only 3 miles?

Heading to the Mahoning this morning, maybe the last trip of the season for us.  :'(
