I was at their business location about a month ago and the off the shelf price for electric start was around 285.00.

Aren't many left anymore. Find them at that price and you should buy them. You won't find a better running motor in this engine family.  \./8

I double checked what I thought they told me last time I was in by calling them today and they told me they are still being made and they are an importer. Parts available as well. I picked up 2  x17 heads.

Subaru got out of the small engine industry, Yamaha bought the factory. They were going to carry on some of the engine lines but the EX series was not one of them. So the EX21 is no longer being made and that's why engines have been available at less than retail prices. They are being liquidated. If Yamaha is bringing back the EX line, that is news to me. Who is your source for that info?

Members in NJ or PA in need of EX stuff should look up the dealer listed in the Ebay listing. I have found their prices to be very good compared to others for the engines and parts I have purchased.

Is that the same engine as mine in my 2012? Id love to have an extra that I could have Tom build for me.
