EX21 conversions advice
« on: July 29, 2019, 12:45:21 PM »
So I was talking to my wife last night after acquiring the two 2008 Mokais and during the conversation, she said that she wanted electric start which this model has a Honda pull-start only. So while I have them all tore down during the reconditioning stage, I'm thinking of updating to the Robin/Subaru EX21 motor. I have found plenty to choose from but am hesitant to pull the trigger since I don't know what specs to look for. Such as shaft length. Any help will be helpful.

There is a lot of fabrication and electrical work to put a Subaru in. I've been doing conversions on these for years and have a system down for adapting everything to work properly. I supply the motor, do all the conversion work, make a muffler, build the wiring harness w/ battery etc.. 100% plug and play. Email me if you are interested. Painlesstom@improvingyourmokai.com
