ES-kape reverse and other upgrades
« on: April 16, 2019, 11:39:17 PM »
Here is one on my reverse thrust units on a tricked our Mokai ES-kape.  I know the sound quality is not good but itís pretty easy to see whatís involved.  This is the third one I have done and I am happy with the results.  I have tested similar units on my 2010. With Tomís aluminum nozzle they will fit on both the older hull and the current ES-kape models.

I'll fix them, but you can't use links from a mobile device. they have to start with "youtube, not youtu.be"

Bizler,
Your work is beautiful.   Each one looks nicer than the last.  Your friend's boat is also very interesting.  What are the rails used for?  Thanks

Thanks again, Tom.  I struggle with attempting to post things.  For me, there is nothing intuitive about it. I have to rely on trial and error and on top of that, my memory is not so good...

Thanks, Hillbilly. I enjoy working on things like this.  As to the rails, I donít know if there is a purpose other than just grab handles and tie downs. Randy mentioned that he has stand up rails for casting as well.   :)

Hillbilly, The rails are Hobie H Rail System;
https://www.hobie.com/accessories/h-rail/

You can attach anything you wish rods holders, cup holders, tackle boxes, downriggers, equipment and standing casting platform.

Lots of options here.
