Close calls here, two pump cone screws were seized and I just knew they were going to break. Heat, a few tricks up my sleeve, and more than a few prayers later I got them out ok. With the heat I added to the water filled housing, I almost ended up a casualty when the cone exploded off the housing. I'm usually standing over these while pulling the cone loose, for some reason I wasn't today and it wasn't a conscious decision not to either. I never considered the housing would be pressurized... Somebody was looking out for me today is all I can say! That cone popped off like a bomb and water shot straight up where I would have been looking down. Scary stuff. And all because of salt water use.. One nozzle bolt broke though.
