Thanks for the mention, Chuck. I actually still have the ďlow boyĒ version frame in the attic of my shop if anyone is interested. I will let it go for the cost of shipping, est. $35.  I can add the 5/8Ē dia. axle and clevis pins for another $20. Adding a pair of wheels from Harbor Freight would be another $10. That totals $55.  PM me if you are interested.

Calling for 79 and 82 here today and tomorrow, I'll have to get some river time in this evening. Glad you have some warmer days this week too. Warm days in Dec is something we can always count on on GA! lol

I traveled to the Runaway dealer Saturday, about two hours away, and put a deposit on a CoolCamp camper. Only about 580 lbs!
4í wide by 8í long. They are meant to be used for sleeping in, not living in. Iíll be rigging it to load my spanking new Mokai on top, plus a large back door, and a cargo rack up front.
100% fiberglass & composit construction, so no rot or rust.

Cost is around $4,500, and will pick up late January.

There you go, should save you a lot of money staying at hotels.
You can meet us at Allegheny reservoir in May. We're planning an even closer trip to you too, the Pine Creek Gorge
Watson Township, PA.

What's your plan for rigging up the trailer to carry the Mokai?

Pine Creek is definitely doable. About three hours away.

I plan on installing a winch on the front of the trailer, on a post. Not really sure yet.
I have a fishing kayak that I put on top of my SUV, with a roller. Itís about 100lbs, and the car is much higher than the camper, so that might work too. I would definitely take out the engine & gas tank!

Itís hard to know until I get the camper.

Brought my trailer and Mokai down to Tom's last month so he could add a kayak and bike rack, turned out great. (Thanks Tom!)
We worked out a good plan to haul 2 Mokai's, 2 kayaks and 2 bikes.

I'm thinking you could have someone weld a similar setup to the frame that carries the trailer and build a similar style rack that can be removed?

Thatís wild! My camper isnít much higher than that. I have a feeling Iím going to void the warranty if I weld a winch to it.....
