Pump splash guards
« on: July 28, 2018, 04:05:42 PM »
I’ve had a few requests for pump splash guards from members on his forum. This guard attaches to the two upper carrying strap bolts on the aft of the hull. No drilling is needed.  I just completed 4 more. Hit me up if you are interested. They are $40 each which includes the $18.90 in postage.

Bill,
So this prevents splashing? Don't think I experienced this yet, is it in windy conditions with the wind at your back?

Full throw turns can result in spray from the forward area of the nozzle, usually right into the cockpit. The felt material inside the nozzle doesn't last long, and when they fall apart the spray is more pronounced. Pump cover is the simple solution that looks good too. My version looked exactly the same, but bolted to the hull while Bill's is much simpler by using the existing strap fasteners for mounting points.  \./8

Thanks, Tom, for the explanation.  I haven’t experienced the splashing on my boat yet but others have. I’ll go for the “looks good” and aerodynamics aspects.  :)  Bill

Yes, I do. I have two in stock. I charge $20@.  Shipping is $20.  I can get two in a box, so that would be $60.  You can IM me or email me at: bizler1@aol.com.
