Just thinking ,, has anyone towed a non motorized kayak ,,with there Mokai ,,? possibilities for towing my friend behind me on extended relic hunts. Thanks

Yes, but you won't be getting anywhere quickly. lol You would also want to ensure there are backup washers inside the hull when the tow eyes are installed. Preferably a plate that spans the width of the hull.

This set up used for years to tow friendís yak and no problems.  Inside backing plates fastened to outside eye hooks...

I bought the optional tow hook with my Mokai with the thought of towing my non-powered kayak but have yet to make use of it. It seems secure enough with the factory mount. But it does make the nesting feature a bit tighter. It also seems expensive at $75 for what it is.

What did they sell you for $75?? FYI My bow tow hook/handle is $55.

Ahh ok. That looks good for the ES-kape, but even though it would probably fit the last model Subaru boats that would not be a good options for those.
