Hood Latch Heaven
« on: October 11, 2017, 08:32:29 PM »
Fought with the stock hood latch ordeal for the last time.... Always has been a pain to take on and off, bone stock, and still after modifying it with my muffler/ scoop/ cold air etc.. It has just been a royal pain.. I'm sure many of you can relate. Then there is the concern of it coming off while going down the road because the twist lock always comes undone... No more, I'd had enough.

Went back to the original method of rubber hold down latches. Not an option for those who stuff the engine compartment inside the cockpit, but for those who don't do that..... well, this is an awesome upgrade!

Awesome idea Tom.  My latch constantly vibrates into the unlocked position.  It's only a matter of time before that cover fly's off.  I'm going to pick these rubber latches up.
