Perhaps I'm suspicious by nature but this is quite a unique part. I hope the one in Spain isn't the original stolen drive!  ???

Hello Ian,
That is certainly an unfortunate situation as this is an expensive component.
Jet Drive: $1550 US
Vband Clamp $ 59 US
Shipping estimate $100-175 depending on service desired.

got replay  from mokia this is very costly part coming in at 1.700.00 uk then inport tax ::::: 2.100\\\\\2400 uk pounds dam it >:(

My concern in a post about theft deterrent's was the entire Mokai. Hearing about Ian's misfortune, now makes me more concerned about the pump. At $1550 x 2, think I'll be locking them in my car from now on.

There are two options for changing heads. One would be to find one from an EX17, that is a direct bolt on that will increase power with a simple jet change. The other option is to find a KX head, carburetor, airbox, and cam. Much more expensive and harder to find, but will give you a little more power than the EX17 head. Figure 1-2 mph increase with EX17 head, and 2-3 mph increase with KX. Good luck and Happy New Year!  \./8

Happy New Year to you as well! Hope you get well soon, sick is a miserable way to be any time of the year.

GX270 will not work without some very serious modifications that you don't even want to consider, not worth the trouble and you wouldn't gain anything but a huge headache. You've already established your dislike for not feeling well, so I would use that motor for something else.  :D
